| The Main
Railing Bending Template features the ability to create railings bent from .020 wire (not included), which can then be trimmed off at the edge of the template's plex base to give the correct length, then the intermediate stanchions can be soldered (or glued) to the underside of the railing and also trimmed to length using the edges of the plex base. The round holes provided on the template allow for soldering (or gluing), and preventing the parts from sticking to the baseplate during fabrication. |

ROOF DETAIL SET This set contains the wooden parts required for making the Ft. Dodge, Des Moines & Southern Cab Roof Details. The curved Formers are cut from 1/32" Plywood with pre-cut notches for ease of assembly. The "matting" is cut from sticky backed 1/64" plywood. For ease of assembly, there are locating tabs that hold each matting strip in place. The backing paper is simply peeled off and each strip "nests" into place between the tabs on the curved part of the Formers. Once the matting is pressed in place, the tiny tabs are easily cut with an X-Acto knife, the outside wood frame is pulled away leaving the strips attached in perfect alignment. |
